We’re taking part in the 2018 Visa Wellington on a Plate festival with the Gangsta Food Gathering on 18 August, and we hope you join us.
Come meet Los Angeles gangsta gardener Ron Finley as we celebrate our urban farms and the amazing local enterprises springing up at our headquarters ,The ReMakery. We’re also launching our new off-grid commercial kitchen, which is a major milestone in making sure our community has access to delicious, wholesome food that nourishes our people.
The Gangsta Food Gathering is from 3-8pm, 18 August and includes activities for all ages – farm visits, mural painting, making sustainable products, and live entertainment. At 6pm there will be a feast cooked from local ingredients, prepared by our community and reflecting flavours from around the world.
Profits raised go towards our goal of providing 3,000 nourishing meals to our community every week by 2021. That starts with every ticket sold giving entry to someone else who would otherwise miss out – ‘cos we’re all about community!
