Join Us for a Transformative Summer Internship at Common Unity Project Aotearoa!
Are you passionate about community-led development, urban farming, and environmental sustainability? The Common Unity Project Aotearoa (CUPA) invites enthusiastic individuals to apply for our Urban Kai Internship over the upcoming summer holidays.
About Us:
Join us to learn more about our mission and the impactful work we do in the environmental non-profit and urban farming sectors.
Urban Kai Internship:We are offering a three-month internship where you'll gain hands-on experience contributing to the running and maintenance of Te Umu i te Mamaku (Riverside Garden) and the Compost Hub. As an Urban Kai Intern, you'll work alongside our dedicated team, gaining valuable skills in planting, propagation, and community education.
What You'll Do:
Collaborate with the Urban Kai team in growing kai and managing sites.
Plan and facilitate educational sessions for community learning projects.
Contribute to CUPA's public communications and social media presence.
Engage in a self-led project, fostering independent work with mentor check-ins.
Uphold CUPA's values and branding in all external communications.
Key Responsibilities:
Your tasks will range from crop yield enhancement and community involvement to health and safety adherence and administrative duties. See the detailed responsibilities in the Urban Kai Internship Agreement.
