Angel Food for the Remakery Kitchen

The Epuni Baptist church (our neighbours) and The Remakery Kitchen have formed a beautiful relationship which results in more kai to those who need it. 

Every week the church and Victoria (our Kitchen Manager) work out what food ingredients the Remakary kitchen needs. Then church members get together to buy our wishlist items to donate directly to our kitchen. 

We’ve received ingredients like rice and tinned food (corn, beans, chickpeas & tomatoes) that we make into meals that are donated to the community. This partnership between us and Epuni Baptist Church has been incredible, and has been dubbed “Angel Food” by Church Member, Allie. 

Being able to help where it’s needed most is something that both kaupapa share, and this authentic relationship between neighbours allows us to do just that. So to the generous and kind members of Epuni Baptist Church, thank you for your contributions and friendship!
