Sew Good Workshops

Sew Good is all about learning to sew, showing aroha to Pāpātuānuku and helping the community.

We provide the resources, a unique space and skills for you to learn to sew in a friendly environment. Always with a focus on upcycling, mending and enjoying second hand treasures.

The class is suitable for beginners with no sewing experience and those at the intermediate level. Our tutor Roberta, will guide all participants at their own pace.
You will learn how to handle your sewing machine, how to correctly pin and cut out the fabric, read, interpret and use basic patterns and how to choose the right fabric for your project.

Never used a sewing machine before? Want a refresh or to boost your confidence? Book yourself into a one-on-one class with our tutor Roberta.
