🌱 Rātā Rangatahi Programme Update 🌱

🌟 Phase 2: Embracing Strength & Connection 🌟

Join us in celebrating the resilience of the Rātā tree as we embark on Phase 2 of our Rātā Rangatahi programme! Inspired by Āo Māori, our programme symbolizes strength and interconnectedness within our community.

Compost Hub: Our public compost hub completes a circular cycle, allowing community members to drop off food waste and learn about composting. Our hub keeps at its focus the opportunity for those with limited access to greenspace to still contribute towards a more sustainable environment.

Relaunch of Cafe & Kitchen: Our off-grid community kitchen, celebrates local produce and ethnic diversity. We welcome partnership discussions with local community roopu to enhance our commitment to community nourishment.

Free Education & Community Workshops: From Reo Māori in the Māra to life skills workshops, we offer a diverse range of educational experiences to our community, fostering skill development and empowerment. Watch this space for upcoming dates!

Honouring Te Tiriti o Waitangi and Ao Māori: We prioritize the voice of mana whenua and embody Matauranga, growing by the moon, diversifying to grow taonga, and fostering intentional governance shifts.

Rebuilding Our Community Hub: Engaging in community consultations, we are collaborating with Kainga Ora and Hutt City Council to rebuild our community hub, ensuring it meets the needs of our local community.
